Hotel Concrete in Ungheni has potential but needs some serious TLC. While the air conditioning and certain room amenities were hit or miss, I appreciated the comfortable beds and the surprisingly decent breakfast that kept my family fueled for our adventures. The spacious seating area in our unit gave us a cozy spot to unwind after a day of exploration, which I always enjoy, especially with my daughters by my side capturing the moments through my lens. Although the hotel is strategically located and serves as a great pit stop for those with early flights, the lack of maintenance dampens the experience a bit. Still, the friendly staff did their best to make our stay as pleasant as possible, showing us that hospitality can still shine through when things seem to be falling apart. I'd suggest looking elsewhere unless you're in a pinch, but the location is promising for eco-tourists like us venturing into Transylvania!
